This is the worst salon I have ever worked for. Regis company has several chain salons and I'm sure they make lots of money off it, yet they pay their employees minimum wage! My store was not busy at all. I would not even waste time!

I loved working for mastercuts. I would work for another regis salon in the future. Best job I ever had.

Working for Mastercuts was at first a challenge in my Cosmetology Career, do greatly in part to the fact that I was an inexperienced stylist. But my confidence grew quickly. The fast paced enviroment challenged my abilities as a stylist and with customer service. The management was under great stress during my time there and was truely a detriment to – more... the Corporation. Three managers came in during the year I as employed and the corporation showed little loyalty to its staff. I learned a great deal at Mastercuts, hard work, communication and an appreciation for achieving goals and establishing loyal cliental. – less

It is a busy salon but very unorganized as far as shop duties and scheduling.

MasterCuts is a salon great for start out cosmetologist. However, there is no real growth. And they undervalue their employees. The pay is literally nothing.

Because of its great location they get a lot of business. I like that because keeping busy makes the day go by faster. The only part of the job that I did not like is that you and one other person that closes with you had to take the money to the bank everynight. Sometimes we wouldnt get out of there until 10 or 11 and I didnt think it was safe to be – more... a female late at night taking money to the bank. – less

I enjoyed working for any Regis Salons, including Mastercuts and SmartStyle. The environment is consistently very friendly and offers further education. I loved the positive competition to excel in a workforce, such as Mastercuts and SmartStyle. The more you put into your work, the more pay, I received.

I learned a lot from this job and I liked working with my co-workers. The hardest part of my job was not making enough money to take care of family, because business was a little slow at times.

Mastercuts is a good place to start off working when your first getting out of hair school. Its a good way to build up your clients to have some follow you when and if you decide to ever go out on ur own. The management could always be better it was great when I frist started there now they have changed alot in home office and its not the same.

great locations, good place for multitasking. The hardest part of the job was sometimes having to work late.

Job has not much room for advancement but is great to gain exeprience.

Love all customers and co worers just not organized. I've worked here for 2 years bussiness is just slow and gas is so high.

i believe mastercuts is a great place to work right out of school because you learn a lot. They do not pay well and their expectations are very high!! They want you to push push products but do not compensate you for them. I worked there for 5 years and NEVER got a pay raise. I made minimum wage for that long. : ( On a great note, they did pay for my – more... continuing education credits and i loved working with the few ladies that stuck around there. – less

This was a fun, easy place to work. I learned new skills daily. My boss always did her best to teach new management skills.

you leanrn everyday so never block your mind always be open minded. hard work pays off at the end.

To built clientele with great customers service by performing hairstylists duties to different variety of age groups to their desires, also meeting a set percentage by sales and base on commission.
