Typical Temp service
QUALITY TECHNICIAN (Former Employee), Anoka, mn – May 6, 2013
I was contracted for Pentair. loved working there, but lost my job to slowing sales. Hire more sales personnel. Masterson allows Pentair to keep employees as permanent temps.

Now, they keep calling me for jobs but they are low paying jobs, even after i have told them many times now of how much I need to make to survive.

Productive workplace.
Laborer (Former Employee), Mason City, IA – April 19, 2013
Pros: the job payed well.
Cons: the job was temporary.
A typical day would be lifting fifty five pound bags. I learned about what it takes to do my job effectively. My co-workers were very friendly and helpful. The hardest part of the job was that it was only temporary. The most enjoyable part of the job was the co-workers.

Dishonest company. Terrible Management
Branch Manager (Former Employee), IL. – April 14, 2013
Cons: everything
You will work a minimum of 70 hours per week and that is not including being on call 24/7. You are expected to eat s**t, smile and say you like it. If you are not sleeping with the Area Manager, V.P. of sales or VP of operations you will be fired. Branch manager that was fired for being drunk on the job was re-hired and his replacement was fired to – more... give the job back to him. Stay away from this company either as an internal employee, temporary employee or a business that is looking to use temporary employees. They create more problems than solve. If you decide to go with them, good luck! You will spend and waste more money than you will earn using this company. – less

Fun place, nice co-workers
Temporary Employee (Current Employee), Rochester, MN – February 4, 2013
Pros: fun place, nice co-workers
Cons: small components to work with and temporary.
Nice company. You can work temporarily on a job.
Learned how to put curcuit boards together at a electonics manufacturer. Co-workers were nice people. Hardest oat of the job was the small components and seeing the small holes to put them in.
It was nice and easy work could stand or sit when neccessary.

Started off well, but after 8 months, management changed for the worse.
Warehouse associate (Former Employee), West Allis, WI – November 23, 2012
Pros: granted me holiday pay, even when i forgot to follow protocol. was grateful for that.
Cons: assignment position took away our breaks, and good management was replaced with bad, when the company restructured.
Had a great recruiter, but after I was let go for no fault of my own. My recruiter took my statement, and I was awarded unemployment comp. She was eager to help me find another job, but mysteriously let go herself.

Micro managed
Operations perm staff (Former Employee), Metro – November 1, 2012
Pros: big company
Cons: health benefits, payroll mistakes, rude upper mgmt.
Watch your back here. No work life balance for mediocre pay, long hours. Management is harsh and demanding. Lots of politics and secrets with ops vp being rude and not much people skills. Huge divide with sales, in-house fighting and no trust. Head games not worth it . Toxic culture coming from the top - full of family relatives and show favoritism – more... and poor work ethic – less
