Sequenced Course Structure & Competency-Based Grading
Instead of grades 9-12, MCH offers a sequence – more... of twelve semester-long courses in each academic subject. Prior to enrolling, students are assessed and placed at the appropriate course level each subject's sequence. Students must demonstrate Mastery (76%+) in a course in order to move up to the next course in the sequence. Every student develops an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) that specifies what course level in each subject's sequence the student needs to reach in order to graduate.
