Regional Manager- Retail Tire and Service Sales

A privately held tire and after-market retailer has an opening for an experienced manager to oversee a multi- site region in the greater New York City area. This position could be based on Long Island, northern NJ, or Westchester/Putnam Counties.
The regional manager is a field facilities management position which includes oversight of a geographic territory that includes multiple store locations. As a Regional Manager the person selected will be responsible for the P&L of each store, the training and development of staff , oversee the execution of processes in all areas of each store’s operations including but not limited to sales performance, loss prevention, operations, employee selection, performance management and customer retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The person selected will establish a strong customer experience and process driven culture in all assigned stores ; ensure conformance in the execution of short term strategies, provide leadership; execute company directives and moderate strategies to maximize people development starting with the selection process and new hire training to assure the best talent is retained in the business.
The incumbent will be responsible for visiting the stores under his/her direction on a regular basis. These visits will include weekly operational reviews of sales performance; service mix results, staffing levels and training of key staff.
The regional Manager is responsible for the collective results of all stores in the region as well as the results of each individual store location.

College degree and at least 3-5 years of retail store management experience with a demonstrated track record in successful sales performance sales and customer experience focused environment. The last two years must be managing multi-locations.
Adhere to code of ethics and high standards of personal behavior
Experience in a process and procedures driven business model considered a plus
Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to pass an insurance background check
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent leadership and managerial skills combined with a mission driven results orientation. Solid training skills to achieve desired outcomes and ability to develop monitoring/ follow-up programs to ensure compliance with training deliverables. Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally and able comprehend basic financial reports and Profit & Loss Statements.
