Fast pace enviroment to work in.
Crew Member (Former Employee), Cincinnati, OHAugust 29, 2014
A very fast paced job that has some challenging task. Everyday was a challenge but thats every job. Some of my Co-workers was lazy acted like they did'nt know simple task. The hardest part of my job was keeping meat fresh because I had to cook it every minute because I could not afford to get anybody sick.

Fast Paced company catering to 100+ customers daily
Crew Trainer (Former Employee), Belle Chasse, LAAugust 29, 2014
Pros: free lunches
Cons: no overtime was made available
-A typical day of work consists of training new employees on correct procedures and various work stations, preparing and stocking shifts ready for use, received payments and renders change to customers
-A McDonald's I learned to be accurate and focus on quality as well as working as a team.
-Management consisted of Crew, Crew Trainers in which I was – more... promoted to, floor supervisor, 1st Assistant, 2nd Assistant, and Store Manager.
- The majority of the co-workers I encountered were quite friendly.
- The only hardest part of this were making sure that the team were following proper procedures.
- The most enjoyable part of this job was competing in contests with other stores. – less

Pros: bonuses and free managers meal health benifits
Cons: no over time.
A great place to work with out being stressed. A regular day consist of making the customers happy and satisfied with fast service and fresh food. I've learned how to do lots of things with my experience at McDonald such as managing a store, supervising employees, and handling money. Managing to store and co works was what I enjoyed doing the most. – more... I didn't have a hartest part to the job. – less

Pros: helping the customers and my pay check
Cons: not enough pay
I've learned how to work at a fast pace and keep orders at the time lapse required, typical day for this job was to help customers with there orders and keep the customers happy. enjoyable part of the job was to know that I done my part to make the kids happy and also their parents. all my co workers were hard workers and very friendly and willing to – more... show anyone the right or wrong way things are done. some of management wasn't that friendly and willing to help. but most were. – less

The worst place to eat and work
Assistasnt Manager (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CAAugust 28, 2014
Cons: works staff off the clock, and negative feedback from management
This company has lost it's quality and reputation. The management has the worst customer service attitude that does not belong in quick service. McDonald's standards for quality food is 0. Preparing food prior to customer entry and claiming it is fresh when it was prepared 30 minutes prior to your order, the food is far from being fresh. The products – more... that they use is 100% processed, the salad products are carried over from the night before to lower their food costs. Look like the interest is in only making money not making the customer happy I'm sorry that I waisted time and effort in upholding this brand that no longer cares about the brand, their are hundreds of companies that deserve my money and I would be happy to invest in them. Looks like the business and stock is way low no longer my choice for quick serve. – less

Fun and Productive Fast Food Service
Crew Member (Former Employee), Winston-Salem, NCAugust 28, 2014
Pros: happy customers
Cons: understandable team
A typical day at work would consist of me clocking in, then figuring out my duties for the day and accomplishing them. From the front counter to the back window I achieve all of my task for the day, and after a long wonderful day at work, it's time to clock out. What I have learned working at Mcdonalds would be how to greet and satisfy customers needs – more... as ordered. I worked with a great team of people who had similar goals as me. The hardest part of the job was giving up. It was hard for me to give up. i absolutely loved my job. I love the fact that I was making customers happy. – less

Manager in Training (Former Employee), Conyers, GAAugust 28, 2014
McDonald's was my first job. I was good going in and going straight to the drive-thru. It was 4 of us and we untouchable. I became a team leader with in a year then started my manager training. I felt privileged to train the owners son so he came one day take over. The funnest time I had was helping out with the 1996 Olympic's at the Horse Park when – more... the owner's daughter asked me to come and help. – less

Very busy place with some good management, but needed more help
Grill person/production (Former Employee), Tecumseh, MIAugust 28, 2014
Pros: wearing a uniform; if you're not making much it is hard to buy clothing, which i had to do at u of m. i could pretty much do my own thing in the grill area
Cons: healthcare too expensive, had to wear hats as uniform, some kids did not work that hard
I worked with a lot of kids from high school and I am much older. I am used to more responsibility, so I made certain things mine. The pay was not very good, but they ended up giving me full time. I did like that they kept me in an area I was best at, especially because no one else seemed to like it.
