CASHIER/HOSTESS (Former Employee) – Plano, Texas – November 5, 2013
The environment is very relaxed. The staff is mostly kids in high-school and was a great place to start my first job. The management was decent and seemed to try their best to make things run smoothly.
Great entry level Restaurant Management Opportunity

Cashier (Former Employee) – Byram, MS – June 25, 2017
I would ring in orders, check to ensure that food went to the tables correctly, and take food to tables. The best part was getting to meet new people (customers). The management was not the best, but it was a good experience.
Communicative work environment and very helpful with great team work.
Cashier and Customer Service (Former Employee) – Humble, TX – June 24, 2017
Easy and very efficient for everyone. Not everyone will be happy but you can try to please them. Everyone got along with everyone as a family. Customers were rude at times but we handled it very well. Many different people enjoyed coming to eat and enjoy our hospitality. At the end of the day we all were happy to make others happy.
Cashier (Former Employee) – Noblesville, IN – June 22, 2017
My work day is meeting new people and getting their order for food. Working as a team. The managers I had understand what is going on and willing to help when ever they can. There were different culture in my workplace. Keeping up with orders. Helping the customers with their food and drinks.
Dishwasher (Former Employee) – Fort Wayne, IN – June 20, 2017
The deli was my first job as a kid it was a fun environment. Showed me how to run a kitchen. Keep the floors and dishes clean at rhe same time. I really enjoyed working at the deli. Only cons is that u really cant make a career out of it.
Certified Deli Trainer (Former Employee) – Hattiesburg, MS – June 19, 2017
Mcalisters was a great place to work. You build relationships with coworkers by working as a team. You build connections with your customers. The job is pretty easy if you can multitask. You get a discount on food and the food is very good. All in all a good place to work.
Was a very nice place to work at the people are nice just the managers will get in you if your not doing the work right everyone has a dired position and you have to work fast because it is a very busy restaurant
I've worked at Mcalister's for a few years. I think I should be getting paid a little more for all the things I know how to do, but I make $9.00/hr so I'm not going to complain too much about the pay. I think this is a job for someone who is in high school as a beginning job or just a college student who needs money. But as someone who has bills and college to pay for this works as a part time job.
