Associate Attorney (Current Employee), Chesterfield, MOJuly 24, 2013
The workplace at MLK is a productive and team-oriented environment where the firm's forward progress is pushed by the employees in a communal effort. The equity partners encourage each attorney's growth, both in terms of experience and business portfolio, and the firm is not afraid to take chances.

Debt Collector (Former Employee), Bedford, OHApril 3, 2013
Pros: i loved the bonus structure
Cons: not enough time in the day
A typical day at Mccarthy Burgess & Wolff would consist of working my hot accounts from 8:30 am - 10:00 am then if no new accounts have been assigned, then hopping on the dialer till about noon, a little skiptracing, being i was a top collector helping other collectors with a second voice was also normal routine.I cant say anything was hard about the – more... job ive been in collections so long its become second nature to me. All in All it was a great company i enjoyed the people but most of all i enjoyed mt bonus checks. – less

Trial Counsel (Former Employee), Hartford, CTMay 8, 2012
Pros: good work environment
Cons: office accommodations and healthcare.
Early start and late nights, legal work enjoyable.
Had access to Loislaw, and a good library. Was able to prepare well for any case.
Management was relaxed, confidence in lawyers' ability.
Co-workers and support staff were excellent.
Hardest part of job: trial preparation.
Enjoyable part of job: getting back to normal routine after trial.
