Though founded in 1960, McKinstry has a history dating back to 1934. The company was formed by George Allen and Merrill McKinstry as a result of the untimely death of W.E. Beggs Company owner William Beggs. As the two remaining company executives, McKinstry and Allen quickly secured the nucleus of their firm and reopened as partners in McKinstry Company in June of 1960. The new company got off to a quick start as many long time clients remained loyal to their relationships with our founding partners.
