The people in management (Especially the plant controller and the human resources woman) are pretty horrible to deal with. They do lots of under the table stuff and play favorites. As well as gossip worse then junior high school kids - it's insane. They talk horrible about the plant workers behind their backs. The plant manager is nice enough, but won't stand up for you. He is basically the manager in name only and the plant controller runs the show. So you are screwed if you ever complain. They tend to change the rules and policies depending on who it applies to, and whether they like you or not.
If you can keep your head down and work like a dog. And if you are halfway smart, pretend otherwise. They dont like anyone that can see the petty games they are playing, so play dumb at all costs. They prefer that. The pay is pretty decent. Sadly, they treat their employees badly, but of course everyone needs their jobs, so not much that can be done. Don't try to make friends, they all are out to climb ahead of you and if they have to stab you in the back to do so - they will without blinking. I can't wait to retire and leave this mess behind. Job security should not be this hard.
I really wish the main guys would visit the plant unannouced. But that will never happen.
Pay is good at around $13 an hour
Everything but the pay
