Quality Control department of a top award-winning point-of-purchase (P.O.P.) display consultancy and manufacturer is seeking an energetic and talented junior level individual on a part-time basis.
This position performs basic quality audits at all points of the manufacturing process, records results, and communicates problems to appropriate supervisors/managers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Obtains and reviews all associated documentation applicable to the product, operation, and area to be audited.
B. Advises the applicable department supervisor, in advance, to coordinate time and support personnel, if appropriate.
C. Audits the selected process using a checklist to be certain that all necessary functions are assessed.
D. Records the results of the audit on the Internal Audit Report (QA-013). Reviews all results and determines whether corrective action is needed.
F. Meets with Quality Assurance and files a copy of the audit results.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
This entry-level, part-time position is suitable for any candidate demonstrating an aptitude for and understanding of manufacturing on a practical level, record keeping, and basic ISO auditing concepts. The ideal candidate has two years minimum of post high school education, two to three years of work experience, and is interested in manufacturing or quality assurance. Retired Quality professional also acceptable.
Pay rate commensurate with experience.
