Business Intelligence Analyst (Former Employee) –  Plano, TXJune 30, 2017
MedAssets was a great place to work until it was sold and split between two companies. Work/Life balance was great and the people were awesome. However once the CEO changed, things were different and it seems that employees aren't valued as much anymore.

Senior Systems Engineer (Former Employee) –  Plano, TXJune 29, 2017
They are not geared toward employee happiness, etc. The upper level management is about acquiring / selling pieces of business as an investment. Outsourcing the technology is the only focus they have at this time.

Patient Account Representative (Former Employee) –  Saddle River, NJApril 19, 2017
The company is very warm and welcoming especially to new employees. The experience was great. I started at an entry level position and worked my way up. If you like tedious work than this place is for you. Your daily work becomes very repetitive. There are alot of times you work alone which i like and a few times you work as a group which is good as well. You get a chance to interact with different personalities and learn new things.
Pros
Bonuses, parties, cocktail hours, health benefits etc
Cons
A large amount of the employees were related causing favoritism

Executive Assistant to CEO & President
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) –  Saddle River, NJApril 4, 2017
Typical full time executive assistant position with very good benefits and room for advancement in the company, but also very demanding. Most days I was bringing work home with me which took away from family time. Workplace culture is very friendly and helpful. Most of the management I worked for has since retired or moved on, but I enjoyed working with all department supervisors.
Pros
Excellent work environment, growing company, great benefits

Revenue Cycle was on the way out. The company was not performing well and the development was consumed by one project. There was always a concern the company was not going to do well in the long-term.

BI Developer (Former Employee) –  Plano, TXJanuary 6, 2017
I learned Teradata there.
Very good management.
Friendly co-workers
When working on the new technology/skills, sometimes it was hard to get the answers from the vendor since the vendor also didn't have answers.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the good management.

Director, Marketing PMO (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GADecember 7, 2016
Most of the roles within the company were fairly well defined which is good for an employee, however management, and upper leadership always seem to have some kind of hidden agenda that made reviews and progress incredibly difficult.
Pros
Good relationship with other companies, and excellent attachment to philanthrophy
Cons
lots of structure changes made goals and mbos almost impossible to meet
