Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Irving, TX – April 29, 2013
They are a great group of people, but there is not enough opportunity at the location that I was working at to advance. However, that should not stop anyone who applies from trying.

Disconnected and stressful work environment
Coverage Review Representative (Former Employee), Cedar Rapids, IA – March 8, 2013
Pros: i had two team leads that were great.
Cons: dirty environment. roaches throughout the call center and break room.
Overall rating is very poor. Compensation and benefits through their contracted agent of hire-APAC is very poor. Benefits are very poor. Additional Compensation is promised through making 'bonus'. When too many reps start meeting requirements to make bonus the criteria is changed and may or may not be announced immediately. No raises. Culture and values – more... do not exist at APAC. There is no job security and in order to keep the MEDCO contract APAC will bulldoze over anybody or actually tell flat out lies to both Medco and employees.
Management above the team leader status is cut throat. Team leads are only fair to good.
APAC who represents MEDCO doesn't care about work life balance. They will hire you for a shift to get you in the door and then change your hours in training class
The hardest part of the job for customer service reps is during hours when management has gone home but we are not allowed to say that when a manager is requested. Although this is primarily APAC ( I hope) APAC is the caliber of workforce Medco contracts. – less

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Las Vegas, NV – March 7, 2013
Pros: free snacks during open enrollment
A typical day at work consists of a 10 hour schedule recieveing calls from many clients. Some place orders for their medications other have questions about coverage, claims or their plan functions ie: RRA. Co-workers are freindly in all departments and eager to answer questions about plan information such as prior authorizations and managed care.

Overall a great place to work, friendly staff, knowledgeable managers
Recognition Specialist (Former Employee), Fort Worth, TX – February 25, 2013
Pros: flexible hours
Cons: lay offs
Great company to work for, however, after the recent merger with Express Scripts, many layoffs have occured and continue.
Management was very adaptable to change, and are now learning the lean philosophy and Kaizen events as it relates to business needs.
