Under the direction of the Supervisor of Special Education, provides assessments, direct therapy services and consultation to staff and other professionals regarding the students' therapy. This includes identification of special needs, development of individualized therapy and/or developmental motor programs, participation in the students' Individual Education Programs and Individual Family Services Plans, maintaining daily data, providing staff in-services to share knowledge of special handling techniques, communicating concerns to consulting professionals (i.e. physiatrist, orthotist, etc.) and ordering special equipment as necessary.
