The Manager of Client Partnerships will assist in developing and maintaining excellent partner relations that will drive revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, retention and growth. The manager will leverage established client relationships to expand contracts to include additional categories of business and/or new services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the Service delivery strategy and its’ execution and be accountable for the contract and its’ performance, retention, customer satisfaction and reviewing expansion opportunities
  • Develop and build relationships with key decision influencers and decision makers at new and existing client publications to secure and retain business for MSP through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities
  • Grow revenue through increased reach and penetration within client organizations through sales of new, and expanded existing products
  • Participate in the coordination of annual strategic planning sessions with clients
  • Analyze market data and identify market opportunities that can be developed and implemented through various strategic partnerships
  • Identify quality and performance deficiencies through analysis of newspaper data, and implement strategies to address and improve deficiencies
  • Identify and qualify potential strategic partners and business opportunities
  • Oversee entire client portfolio and present analytical data on account performance to meet business objectives
  • Review, assess and communicate key performance indicators, revenue opportunities, outstanding issues and quality standards to clients
  • Collaborate with Business Development and/or Sales to leverage existing client relationships into new or additional programs
  • Oversee the investigation and timely resolution of client inquiries
  • Work with internal Departments to ensure quality, service and training metrics are being achieved
  • Work with Corporate Trainer and Operations Manager to develop corrective action plans
  • Work directly with business teams to assess all client programs P&L
  • Oversee the development and documentation of best practices from outsource relationships, and share with internal teams and external clients
  • Provide support on other projects as needed
  • Occasionally work with all departments to achieve overall company objectives

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Competencies and Education

  • Bachelors Degree and five to ten years experience as a leader in the same or related industry, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop solid relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Creative, innovative and flexible in responding to rapidly changing needs and priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills to develop and enhance relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Self-directed and motivated professional with a desire to assist the organization in achieving its business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort in solving problems that require complex technical or quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to develop, understand and utilize market research as it applies to enhancing strategic partnerships
  • Have an energetic, forward-thinking and creative approach with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
