Gapcover, Non Resident, Medical, Ancillary, Work from home for almost 3 years - October 17, 2014
A typical day at work consisted of claims assessing, auditing and reviewing accounts from members and providers. Assisting other staff members and training staff who needed to be upskilled or who required a refresher course. Created manuals and participated in daily staff meetings. Management focused on productivity and output. My co-workers and i worked as a team, to produce output at the highest level. We all had our views and differences but we were all able to work as a team. The hardest part of the job was when the stats were increased, and to keep quality at the highest level. This was reached but took a little longer than expected. i enjoyed training staff and creating manuals so the team could work towards achieving our goals. I have learned to be a leader within my team. I have learnt to work with all types of individuals. I have learnt to accept good and bad feedback and to use it in a positive way. I understood what was asked of me and worked to the best of my ability. I set goals for myself and concentrated to achieve these daily.
