As Accounting Manger you’d direct and coordinate the daily activities of our great accounting staff to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the company and clients. If you are a highly motivated self-starter with supervisory, review, and proofing experience we should talk. You’ll be also responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and coordinating inventory processes for both in office and fulfillment center transactions as well as a host of other duties.
-Help develop and implement accounting processes related to new accounting guidance.
-Ability to develop and analyze the Company’s processes and procedures and ensure adequate documentation exists and is maintained appropriately.
-Ensure the integrity of key processes and reports by understanding flow of transactions from a manual and automated perspective.
-Oversee all A/R, A/P, order processing, and invoicing.
-Manage credit card and check processing.
-Oversee payroll with ADP including sales commission.
-Maintains and balances general ledger.
-Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
-Be proactive in identifying and resolving accounting issues and challenges.
-Ability to assess tasks, develop strategic plans and execute project both independently and collaboratively.
-Be flexible and have the ability to quickly re-prioritize tasks based on urgency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Ability to research and document major accounting issues.
-Strong communication skills.
-Expert knowledge of Excel.
-Strong experience with Quickbooks.
-Knowledge and experience in developing automated processes.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA a plus but not required.
-5-7 years overall experience.
-4 or more years in a management role.
-Verifiable resume proving stable work history.
