What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Medical Staffing Network stack up against the competition?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Medical Staffing Network? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Medical Staffing Network?

Hello. I am a 5th semester nursing student and I would really like to get a per diem nursing assistant/ patient care assistant job at a hospital. I think having a NA/PCA job will help me gain experience and will help prepare me for the nursing world as I will be stepping out as a new graduate very soon. I live in Hayward but I do not mind commuting. I have applied to Kaiser, Sutter health, Stanford and John Muir, but I still have not heard from anyone. I have even tried showing up on the units that are hiring and personally handing in a hard copy of my resume to the nurse manager. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can successfully find a job? Thank you! I will greatly appreciate your feedback!

After seeing at least eight job advertisements, I applied for a certified Phlebotomy position and received a call the same day to schedule an interview. I was told that assignments were immediately available and they needed certified Phlebotomists ASAP. When I got there, expecting to interview, I was placed in a room with 3 other people and we were all handed a folder of papers & tests to complete. 3 hrs later, each of us was handed a drug testing form with directions to the medical center and told that the only other thing we needed was a annual physical and a recruiter will call when something becomes available. That was that. The same old game........

It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Medical Staffing Network? Any advice on striking the right note?
