All of the supervisors are incredibly friendly, but still maintain a professional environment to maintain the productivity needed in accessioning. Training is always an interesting part of the day, since you learn more about the specimens you accession with.

Certified Medical Assistant (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – October 14, 2016
I just joined this great company for about a couple of months. I find this company to be competitive, growing, and productive. I love working as a Certified Medical Assistant. I am currently back in school for nursing. I hope to continue my education as well as work for this great company.
Send you to work and you get paid every week but their benefits is terrible. All you do is follow what you asked to do but the bad part is calls are not recorded and the quality assurance goes behind your back and call and get something different and score you a zero
free lunches when you work overtime
management sucks, you cannot reach your recruiter and then when they mess up your pay, they want you to tell supervisor to call them. Not what you should call a job.
n/a (Former Employee) – New Jersey – July 31, 2016
This was an absolutely terrible company to work with they are extremely disorganized and don't know how to get their ducks in a row. They would call me to tell me that they had jobs lined up for me and then say that it was mistake they actually didn't have it available. Like ill say again they are very uncoordnated and need to get it together.
CVS Caremark Clinical Pharmacist -Medicare Part D (Former Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – July 19, 2016
My recruiter was very attentive to my needs, good salary, work life balance is a hard thing to accomplish because you're at the mercy of the company your contracting for. I sometimes worked 50 and 60 hour weeks because of the work load. Benefits were good given to us in a timely manner but the PTO plan was the worst I've ever seen.
Recovery Specialist (Former Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – April 14, 2016
It also was a very pleasant atmosphere working for EDMC. It also was a outbound and sometimes inbound call center to collect out of school tuition for multiple colleges. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I excelled at getting my students to pay or at least set up a payment plan. I had multiple screens that I worked from as well. I also was able to take payments over the phone.
very close to my home and the job was customer service oriented
Recruitment Advisor, Healthcare (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – February 1, 2016
Pros I learned a ton while working a Medix. They have an excellent training program and will teach you the best way to manage your time in the fast-paced recruiting world. The people that work there are great, down to earth, and hard-workers.
Cons You were required to be in the office at 7:30 and couldn't leave until 6:00pm - very difficult to maintain a work life balance.
Advice to Management I've heard the hours have become more flexible and there are additional career paths being formed. Keep it up and you won't lose A players.
