Working at Medtronic

  • Nvirogal in Monterey, California 28 months ago
Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Medtronic? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Medtronic?

What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Medtronic stack up against the competition?

Can anyone tell me if it's a good idea now that Medtronic is downsizing to even consider working in their finance dept in Northrdge, CA. What are the pay increases like (are they fixed or based on employee and company performance?) How's management in the finance dept. Any suggestions are appreciate it.
