Memorial Hospital West has an adult emergency department, and a separate children's emergency department affiliated with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute has some of the most advanced diagnostic technology for the treatment of heart-related illnesses. The cardiovascular team offers emergency care for heart attack patients.
The Family Birthplace maternity center at Memorial Hospital West provides high-quality medical care, specialty services, educational programs and ongoing support designed to help patients have healthy and positive pregnancies, deliveries and hospital stays. In addition, there is a 20-bed level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for babies who require special care. Education and support classes are held in our 30,000-square-foot community Memorial Fitness and Rehabilitation Center.
The diabetes center offers an in-depth dietary and medical management program that includes diabetes education and counseling.
There is also an outpatient service pavilion making it possible for patients to receive top-quality medical care without spending the night in the hospital. Services include radiology and laboratory testing as well as preadmission registration and ambulatory procedures.
