Vascular/ echo ultrasound Tech (Former Employee), Pembroke Pines, FLNovember 5, 2013
Pros: benefilts, good lunch break and great place to learn, intelligent doctors
Cons: scheduling
As an ultrasound tech you do a lot of portables, usually pretty busy, great bedside manner is emphasized. I believe MHS cares about their patients. It is a learning hospital so there's always room for personal/ career growth if one should apply themselves. I absolutely LOVE LOVE my co-workers, everyone is truly helpful. If you ever have difficulty on – more... a case you can guarantee that they will come in and put heads together to come up with diagnostic images for the Radiologist. overall a good place to work. – less

Volunteering here was a great way to encourage to help others. seeing what people actually go through and how hard it was made me realize a lot. Excellent Healthcare Environment That offers Cultural Diversity
Food Service Worker (Former Employee), Pembroke Pines, FLJuly 27, 2013
Pros: free lunches
Cons: working efficiently under complete renovation of unit.
Duties and responsibilities included; preparation of patient food, serving hot meals to patients, picking up empty trays, occasional delivery specimens to the laboratory, answering patients call lights, and participating with other healthcare workers in fire and disaster drills. I thoroughly enjoyed the company of my co-workers as we all were great – more... teachers and motivates, we kept each other very positive. Upper management had a lot of responsibility so they needed to rely on us to work together properly as a team and to be competent in every aspect of our individual disciplines. Very professional. – less
