If you have a family, or in school or have a life ouside of work this this is not the job for you. They will ask to work 8 more hours after you have already worked 8. If you decline or refuse they suspend you for 3 days, and then 5, and then they fire you. There is no team work in that hospital, people are lazy and you have to pick up the slack. Great place to learn due to different departments, but will never go back.
There always seems to be a fiscal emergency. Even if the stated culture is to always keep the patient in the center, Memorial manages to always keep money at the center of everyday concerns. Memorial gets bled dry of resources to support a bloated health system bureaucracy. If it stood alone it would perform incredibly well.
