MSK tends to hire a lot of people straight out of college so that they don't have to pay them too much despite having a degree. If you don't have a degree & get hired forget about transferring within - they won't even consider your applications.

I love working at MSKCC but I have been trying for over a year to move into the IT field and have been given the run around. The Human Resource Deparment is extremely slow and unhelpful hence my main desire to move on.

Nice place for postdoctoral fellows with excellent collaborators and facilities. As a plus, the medical insurance and other benefits are also good.

The job was very interesting on a daily basis,co-workers were somewhat helpful,some managers were very nice and understanding,the hardest part of the job was being available no matter what you may be doing.the most enjoyable part of working there was meeting new people and learning something new.

Very Busy Fast paced enviormrnt, deadline to get the work out on time, co workers very nice, but the hardest part oof the job was to sit down and actually engage in dialogue wih the supervisors because they were so busy.
