Great Company
Human Resource Officer & IRA Officer (Current Employee), Jakcson ALFebruary 19, 2013
A very busy place where one can learn anything and everything they want to regarding banking. Great opportunities are here, but one must be willing to push themselves to the very edge to absorb all the learning tools.

Good place to work
Bank Teller (Former Employee), Shenandoah, PAJanuary 15, 2013
Pros: good hours
Balancing cash drawer at end of day. Taking customer transactions for payments, deposits. Liked my co workers. The busiest days were the 3rd of the month when the checks came out. Like dealing with the customers and getting to know them.

Productive and fun workplace
Bank Teller (Former Employee), Caledonia, MNMay 9, 2012
A typical day at work consisted of helping customers with banking transactions such as cashing or depositing checks and receiving loan and utility bill payments; explaining and selling products like bonds and traveler’s checks; counting and organizing bills, coins, and checks; and balancing the cash and checks in my cash drawer at the end of my shift.

Merchants Bank review
Branch Manager (Former Employee), bangorMarch 11, 2012
Cons: upper management, ceo needs to be more aware of whats going on
Merchants Bank allows drunks to come to work smelling like old booze. This person works in Loans and is very knowledgable, but cant go through the day without shaking, she has been written up for causing problems in the branches and also for yelling at employees, but upper management sweeps those issues under the rug. Which makes a bad work enviroment – more... for the others. – less
