Registered Nurse (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – February 1, 2016
Mercy General Hospital, Telemetry Unit is very busy all the time. The staff, charge nurse and management were great but the system used for medication administration was very unorganized. Also, Mercy is a teaching hospital and while I was still orienting I had one to three students following me which made my day much more stressful. Very fast turnover rate with patients and rarely did we have a CNA on our unit. The most enjoyable part is working with a great team.
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – July 10, 2015
A very nice place to work as long as you can deal with the sick and ailing. The work is not too hard, but very consistent. Taking care of patients comfort needs, and making sure the hospital is a safe place to be.
Monitor Tech (Current Employee) – Sacramento ca – March 28, 2015
Duties include but not limited too monitoring Phillips Telemetry Monitors. Interpreting telemetry strips during the shift. Communicating with the different physicians that are on call. Entering physician orders in the computer. Training new employees, and setting up patient transports
Disorganized and does not follow contractual obligations
Physician Assistant (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – April 10, 2012
The operating room is employed by a group of hardworking, great individuals. Unfortunately, there is no well defined leadership and the management has no OR experience. Many promises are made to retain employees, but at the end of the day it is a business and from my experience the promises are empty ones at best.
fast paced, versitle work enviroment, overall a great place to work in the medical field

Respiratory Care Practioner (Current Employee) – Sacramento, CA – July 4, 2013
I have worked for other hospitals. Our work load here is a lot higher and more demanding. But when you think of and weigh the fact that our department is strong and our managers support the staff well. It makes it all worth it. I will be a life-time employee here at Mercy.
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (Current Employee) – Sacramento, CA – July 3, 2014
Best place I've worked
I have to put more down or else Indeed won't let me move along and post my resume. I would continue to work at this place but I am moving out of state for my husband. I think it's a good, research-driven facility. They have great cookies.
Clinical Nurse II (Former Employee) – Sacramento Ca – October 7, 2011
I worked on the neuro/tele floor. I loved working with my coworkers, we were a team. It was interesting to do stroke research data gathering. the doctors were very responsive, and I enjoyed the focus MGH had on the whole patient.
