RN, Iowa City - December 5, 2017
Changing times and staffing - front line staff very good and care about the care provided. Upper management very disconnected from the front line caregivers. Financial worries have them managing by fear. Some very poor decisions have been made recently as they try to turn the place around. As a hospital there are some real pluses - private rooms which are good when considering privacy and infection control measures. The food has traditionally been very good - hot with many healthy options. Quiet and comfortable setting. The orthopedic care is top-notch with many experienced care providers.
