Our mission is to serve with Trinity Health of Novi, Michigan, in the spirit of the Gospel, to heal body, mind and spirit, to improve the health of our communities and to steward the resources entrusted to us.
We are a faith-based, not-for-profit community health care system offering comprehensive health care services for people throughout northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.
As the major referral center for North Iowa, Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa is a secondary level health care provider. We offer the best of all worlds: the family atmosphere of a hometown health care center along with the technology, services and resources of a major modern medical center.
Today, as a member of Mercy Health Network – North Iowa, we support and affirm the network’s commitment to strengthen the local community health care system. We provide management support to one Trinity hospital, Mercy Medical Center - New Hampton, and have a contract affiliation with one public hospital, Regional Health Services of Howard County. The remaining six public hospitals have physician/hospital organization (PHO) relationships with us. All but one of these hospitals has implemented an electronic health record system, with the final hospital implementing in 2011.
As part of a complete continuum of patient care services, we offer home care, rehabilitation, occupational health and hospice, as well as six area retail pharmacies.
