Substitute Teacher, Meriden, CT - January 23, 2017
Being a substitute teach is by far one of the best ways to gain experience in education. Many of the skills I have learned through substituting (time management, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, etc) are incredibly useful in many other workplaces. Working with special needs students can be difficult, but it is incredibly rewarding to help not only them but all students. Many of the schools I have worked in have excellent faculty and staff who are very friendly and helpful.
