Maintenance Supervisor,Electronic Specialist, Los Lunas, NM - November 24, 2015
The day started with powering up all the equipment, and meeting with management. Then tasking personal to cover equipment trouble calls, PM’s, and rebuilds. Overview of materials ordered and received against projects. Then idling equipment as needed at the end of day. I learned how continuous improvement through kaizen events could impact total productivity. Management always kept focus on the bigger picture guiding the outcome on the multitude of activities. My coworkers were always on the hunt for a faster safe way to produce. I was difficult to install equipment and it not be used to it capacity, though I enjoyed reprogramming equipment to better fit the processes.
