Our company is looking for a full time shipping/customer service position. We are looking for a team player who is motivated and will go above and beyond. There is room to grow in our company but only for the individual who can demonstrate a positive attitude and hard work ethic.
The job will entail daily shipping and receiving duties in a small Google type office environment. This is not a warehouse position, it is a retail store position at present. Your main duties will include speed and accuracy of receiving shipments in daily, opening and doing checks on the inventory, and making sure inventory sheets are up to date and accurate. You will also be responsible for the shipping and label printing of boxes. The second part of the job will be a transition into customer service, answering phones and emails, and dealing with customer service issues. This position offer a lot of flexibility in terms of time management, but its a results position so if the work is not done then we will request staying late. You will also be responsible for answering some customer service requests over the weekends after you are trained on customer service. In this position, you will often be asked to do many things and wear many hats.
The work environment is casual and you can bring your dog to work(we do). But it is also fast paced so we request if you have interest, that you provide us with a complete resume. A College degree will help and you must have at least 50 hours experience with excel. The hours of this position are currently 11-7pm and you must be local to the Santa Monica area. Since the position is not micro managed and very dynamic, we find it a great way to work but not be in the corporate rat race. You work side by side with your manager who is our product manager and director of merchandising.
