MetLife pays well, but lacks vision alignment

MetLife has some work to do with it's leaders to ensure success in the future. Strategy is strong, digitally focused, and pays well.
Senior leadership in IT seem to battle more than collaborate. There is a lack of gaining alignment through working through tough problems together. Instead, inefficiencies due to redundancy exist because everyone does things in silos. Frustrating to employees who are trying to do their day to day jobs because they are battling resistance across silos.
Compensation is fair, and it's a Global Fortune 50 company which has it's benefits.
Global nature can cost in work life balance, but good exposure to different cultures.
