Busy 30-bed cardiovascular step-down unit
Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) (Current Employee) –  Germantown, TNJune 30, 2016
This is a busy, 30-bed cardiovascular step-down unit which provides care to patients who have health issues which are too critical for the medical/surgical unit, but not critical enough for the intensive care unit. We care for patients with a variety of health care issues, including cancer with anemia, sepsis, acute myocardial infarction, post cardiac cath, hypertension crisis, pneumonia, cardiac rhythm disturbances requiring anti-arrhythmic medications, just to name a few.
Pros
excellent care team
Cons
short-staffed on weekend nights
