Metropolitan Methodist Hospital was a very busy place to work.
Team Leader (Former Employee), San Antonio, TXDecember 27, 2013
Pros: too many co-worker bosses
Cons: not getting my lunch breaks
A day at work was extremely busy.
I learned that it is a very fast paced work environment, you work short staffed most of the time.
Most of the managers are extremely busy as well and don't have much time for communicating with the staff employees.
Dealing with the diversity of the employees
Best part of that job was going home.

Love those Babies
Unit Secretary, Post Partum Department (Former Employee), Metro downtownApril 17, 2012
Worked in the Post Partum and NICU dept. Enjoyed helping out all the new Moms and holding, feeding and changing their new babies. Nurses were awesome to work with. I worked the night shift which at times was hard especially when you didn't get much sleep during the day and with the high volume of births, everyone was always very supportive and compassionate.

poor supervision
RN staff nurse telemetry (Former Employee), San Antonio, TxSeptember 19, 2011
Cons: poor supervisors
dishonest supervisors will do what ever necessary, including dishonest writeups and whatever it takes to get rid of an employee if they "don't like" them personnally no matter how good an employee they are.
