Whatever it takes
Regional Accounting Analyst (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXMay 3, 2016
MHC is very much a people driven company. With competition literally across the street from the majority if our dealership and leasing locations; MHC has decided to compete on the highest level of personal customer satisfaction before, during and after any sale. This mantra might be extolled from the top down, but the overall work environment and management stimuli fosters a proactive, respectful workplace where ideas are put into action to serve the customer.
Pros
Everyone from the VP to grounds keeper hits the door with purpose

Kenworth is a fast paced environment not fit for everyone. Company culture is profit not employee based with limited chance for advancement.

Fleet Account Representative (Former Employee) –  Joplin, MOFebruary 5, 2016
Very enjoyable company to work for. Do your job and you are left alone. Not a lot of corporate feel as each store has an independent feel without a lot of corporate involvement.
Pros
Very easy going laid back team atmosphere.
Cons
Sometimes too laid back, easy to slack.

Do not work here
Used Truck Sales (Former Employee) –  Nashville, TNJanuary 18, 2016
MHC is the worst example of corporate corruption. If you are willing to work for pennies and give them your whole life, then you may fit in. They put no value on their employees and continuously turn and burn. From HR to management; it is run like a high school with the "cool kids" crowd. If you will party, do drugs, and give up any sort of family life; you fit in. If not, you will get kicked to the curb.

Service Mamager (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MODecember 3, 2015
Worked over 80 hours a week on salary in truck leasing and on call 24/7/365 with impossible bonus incentives to make. Zero support from higher management. VP of truck leasing is the worst I've ever seen or worked with in over 20 years
Pros
Nothing good here, Run, run as fast as you can
Cons
Worst of your deepest night mares come true

Great Company to work for. There is room for advancement, and they give you a separation of work and personal life. Pay is competitive as well.

Great Company overall
Diesel Technician (Former Employee) –  Saint Joseph, MOOctober 10, 2015
If you are wanting to advance yourself in the diesel field, it is a great company to work for. The benefits included PTO, healthcare and 401K. They made you use PTO on holidays which wasn't the greatest. They didn't pay any healthcare for the employee, but the plan was cheaper through the company than on your own.

Fast pace environment
Service Advisor/Diesel Technician (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GASeptember 24, 2015
Typical day at work can be as simple as an oil change to a major engine overhaul in a fast pace environment. Definitely learn to multi task, and focus on attention to detail. Shop environment can be hectic but also fun especially when you love what you do and the people you work with. Hardest part of the job was customers, in a go, go environment customers cant be pretty demanding, mainly because they want to drive in and be back on the road in no time. Most enjoyable part of the job is the customers, because you meet different people from all walks of life and the stories from the road are sometimes very funny.
Pros
experience, technology, atmosphere
Cons
long hours

Good company bad way of leadership
Outside parts/service salesman (Current Employee) –  Pueblo, COAugust 17, 2015
This company is a good company to work for and the potential to move up is good. But, after moving up to outside sales the leadership decided to split my territory up with other sales guys that already had their own area. So I suffered with small accounts. The pay potential can be good based on leadership and how well you are liked.
Pros
Interacting with customers
Cons
leadership

Diesel Technician (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, NCJune 10, 2015
Repair or assist with repairs, clean up around the shop. Learned techniques of working on the trucks. Management team was very relaxed and easy going and cared for workers. Co-workers were always looking to help eachother and very friendly. The work environment was tough for me along with the long commute. I enjoy mechanics and working with engines
Pros
Mechanical experience, good co-workers/management
Cons
Work environment, long commute

not sure what you call it (Former Employee) –  not worth connecting this city to the companyMay 29, 2015
Shady place to work as far as sales. Management will throw you under the bus in an instant with your customers. You can't just clear a code and call it fixed. Stupidest decision I ever made was to work there. Horrible business structure and MHC is struggling the most of all the truck dealers because of dishonest practice and routine. No wonder there's no walkin customers and very few positive sales calls
Pros
not a pro one that I know of

green pea mngmt with zero marketing skills
