my day working at Miami Dade college consist of just helping students finding their right book for their class and their material that they needed for the course. i learned how to create displays and how to the book in the right order by the codes they have different codes. my coworkers were very friendly and they would help me if i needed any help. – more... i didn't find nothing hard about that job it was super easy to me. what i enjoyed was helping the student find the right book they left with a smile. – less

A tipical day working here was mostly assist students through the process of admissions and also with any concerns about classes or financial aid processes. The managers of this department were very helpful and friendly with their employees. All the co-workers in my department are very nice and a very good team work. The hardest part of job is handling – more... a lot of people at the same time during registrations times. The most enjoyable part of the job were all the time spent with co-workers and nice people around. – less

Pros: proximity to highways which makes commute less stressful
Cons: the hours must not exceed 24 per week.
I enjoy working with MDC because I have the freedom to choose my schedule and location. My co workers are people like me, Hardworking individuals trying to balance work and family life so when am unable to show up for good reason, there is always someone willing to swap my shift and vice versa.

Signed students to see their advisors, direct call to the appropriate destination, did data entry, sent and received mail, helped others on how to filed for their financial aid and other forms The management was easy to get alone with as well the co-workers.
