EQUIPMENT CATALOG SPECIALIST (Current Employee) – Brownsville, WI – February 3, 2018
Great place to work, long hours but the pay and benefits are very good. the managers let you do your work and leave you alone. the most enjoyable part of the job is that the company is growing and getting to meet new people every day.
Construction Laborer (Former Employee) – Long Island City, NY – January 17, 2018
Very good company to work for, hard work burnits your job. Great pay but it’s night shift. Very safe and they care about safety. The Forman work not like other companies when your Forman just boss you around.
Shop Technician (Current Employee) – Brownsville, WI – May 23, 2017
If your not in management then forget it. People are treated like numbers and they can't keep anyone to save their life. It doesn't matter if you are shop or office staff, there is a very HIGH turn over rate here. HR can't keep anyone at all and just when you get familiar with someone, then they are gone. Same goes for multiple other departments within the office. Shop staff turn over isn't as bad, but they still treat you terrible.
They say they are a growing company, but they are not ready for it. They do not have many seasoned employees left and instead the growing theme is that if you have more than 5 years of experience at Michels then GET OUT!! People are leaving this place for a reason and management doesn't get it.
This should be your last resort if you are looking for employment.
none that I can think of
Work comes first and your family can say forget it cause you won't see them
Regional HSE Manager (Former Employee) – Brownsville, WI – April 6, 2017
Great company to work for. The management has no issues with getting you the tools/equipment to get a job done. The culture is one of a team. Employees are rewarded for their hard work. Work is endless and advancement opportunities are abundant.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – Kirkland, WA – February 13, 2017
It is a good place to work, Corporate tries to play a very active role in all divisions, but each division still has that "small office" feeling. The people are very fun to work with. The field employees are always appreciative for the help that they receive.
Fun place to work, co-workers and field emplyees are enjoable to work with
Operator (Former Employee) – Brownsville, WI – January 12, 2017
Pay is good benefits are excellent lots of turn over. Moral is garbage people always yelling sometimes in your face for no reason. Not willing to work with you unless your one of the good ol boys. Left a good job to work there very disappointing to say the least.
Parts specialist (Former Employee) – Harrisburg, PA 17112 – September 26, 2016
overall wasn't a bad place to work. wouldn't be to bad if u lived close. the pay isn't all there and you can make way more doing the same thing. management wasn't the greatest as a competition between supervisors
