About Mid-State Technical College
Mid-State Technical College (MSTC), a publicly supported, regional, two-year post-secondary institution, is an integral part of the Wisconsin Technical College System. Mid-State's mission is to serve its communities by providing lifelong learning opportunities which enhance the personal and economic well-being of individuals and businesses. It does – more... this by providing a dynamic learning environment that is designed to educate, train, and retrain individuals living within the state of Wisconsin. Included in the academic offerings are 45 occupationally-related associate degree and technical diploma programs designed to facilitate learning in Agribusiness, Business, Health Careers, Service Technologies, and Trade and Industry; relational instruction supporting apprenticeship programs established in partnership with business and industry; general education integrated into all associate degree and technical diploma curricula; and a comprehensive Adult and Continuing Education program for those wishing to pursue special academic and personal interests.
The College serves approximately 15,000 men and women in day and evening classes each year. The MSTC District is located in Central Wisconsin and consists of Wood County, the major portions of Adams and Portage Counties, and parts of five other counties. The main campus is located in Wisconsin Rapids, and regional campuses are located in Marshfield and Stevens Point and a center in Adams/Friendship.
