• would offer personal hygiene to service user eg: assist with their wash, dress and any incontinence problems. • Carry out a risk assessment before starting work. To provide a safe environment to the service users and myself. Ensure that they are safe and comfy before I leave. Address any problems they may have and report this to the relevant people. • Make sure they have got drinks and ensuring they have appropriate meals. • Prompting their mediations if and when needed. • Offer support to service users and to their family be open and honest at all times creating that trusting environment. • My typical duties would consist of assisting them with, bathing, showering, hoisting and regular pressure sore area checks. • would regularly work with team members to give care to dependant service users eg: strokes, Ms and terminal cancer patients. Which will include all care with Hoisting, Commode, Pad change, Sliding sheets, emptying catheter bags and reattaching, changing bed linin and keeping their dignity at all times. • Safe Guarding vulnerable adults to retain their independent, wellbeing and a right too live a life free from abuse and neglect • Documenting everything at all times.
