Great corporate culture, very laid back environment.
Allows for productivity with very flexible hours.
Employees are very helpful and willing to help out when you get swamped with work.

Small dynamic company! Interesting assignments, and many conccerned individual workers. Management can be challenging to deal with.
Pros

Worst executive management team that I have ever encountered
Casualty of Midwest Employers (Former Employee) –  Chesterfield, MODecember 29, 2013
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not sign the non compete agreement. Midwest Employers Casualty uses the non compete as a handcuff no matter the terms of separation. They will create doubt around the terms of separation and threaten lawsuits which is very unsettling to future employers.
Pros
Close to the freeway exit and the parent company finally replaced the president of the company.
Cons
The qualified leaders left the company long ago, and the remaining execs are those that are in over their heads, Middle management is not so great either.

Management was out of touch, could not be pleased
Claims Analyst (Former Employee) –  St. LouisSeptember 7, 2012
Very difficult work environment with standards of performance that could not be fulfilled. Punitive approach to discipline and work. Hardest part of job was working with management as their attitude was negative.
Pros
employee appreciation day, kid's day
Cons
unrealistic standards of performance
