Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Data Analyst for our corporate office in our Finance and Administrative Department. The candidate must have experience running report and handling contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify all contract and promotional programs for which the Company can obtain manufacturer reimbursement thru regular communication with appropriate purchasing, marketing and/or sales personnel.
  • Create, maintain and revise as needed sales analysis reports that are designed specifically to terms of manufacturer/clinic contracts and promotions. Summarize each report in a logical form and submit reimbursement requests to manufacturers via off-line sales procedures.
  • Maintain ledgers for vendor reimbursement requests. Post payments to ledgers and investigate discrepancies between requested and actual reimbursement amounts. Contact vendors as needed if reimbursements are not received after 30 days, with a goal of having all reimbursements collected within 90 days of submission.
  • Provide monthly accruals of reimbursement request to the CFO. Assist in the reconciliation of the accruals to the general ledger as needed.
  • Verify authorization of contract eligibility per clinic and sales representative request, including validation of HINs. Maintain contract price groups in the and assign clinics to price groups.

Skills

  • Ability to work accurately with highly detailed information.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, especially a level of proficiency using Excel.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Must be flexible, open minded, self motivated and able to work independently.

Experience/Education

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience running reports and handling contracts.
