Promotional Events Manager
Purpose of Position: Work closely with our marketing team and marketing director to fulfill all PR and sales promotions. Includes on-site event management, outside marketing, internal marketing, public relations, sales and client services. In addition, the promotions manager will provide additional support for the marketing and promotions department.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
Managing on-site promotions and event marketing
Manage sales and events
Scheduling and managing promotions coordinators
Responsible for the overall look and feel of the event with the company and clients brand in mind
Client relations: banner placement and setup
Assemble materials from sales for distribution at all outside marketing events
Coordinate on-site scheduling of event coordinators and interns and serve as a liaison for event clients and sponsors
Minimum education and requirements:
College degree preferred
One to two years of experience in sales or marketing support activities
Available for weekend, evening and early morning work
Must be physically capable of long hours and be able to life 50 lbs.
Must be familiar with event logistics and management
Organizational ability and attention to detail are critical
The successful applicant will have to become familiar with all aspects of business, marketing and public relations in order to respond knowledgably to inquires and work successfully with others.
