Pros: educating our community, working with students, friday and weekends off
Cons: hostile and unpredictable work environment, little job security, pay not sufficient with the amount of work expected.
I worked for this company for over 2 years and I am not impressed with the overall management style of this corporation. We often felt like our jobs were in jeopardy and the work environment became increasingly hostile towards the end of my time there, which is why I decided to leave for other employment opportunities. Several people smoked and spent – more... more time outside smoking and chatting about students and other faculty/staff members than inside the building working. Quite honestly, I have never worked for a company that operates in such a manner and there seemed to be something new and even more astounding that occurred each and every day. I am not alone in feeling this way, several staff members and instructors were also greatly impacted by the negative work environment and were either fired so that new management could hire their close friends and family or resigned their position to seek other employment. The best part of the job was working with my healthcare students. After all, my job was to help them succeed in their chosen medical professions and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. I look forward to the possibility of working side-by-side with one of my students at a medical office or hospital in the future. – less
