About Mills College
For over 75 years, Mills College has maintained an international reputation as a site for innovation and experimentalism in music. In its past and present, Mills counts among its students and faculty key innovators in areas as diverse as electronic, electro-acoustic and computer music, installation based sound art, improvised music, multi-media performance, – more... instrument building, idiomatic instrumental composition and more. Over the course of four days of programming, the public is invited to sample the latest offerings by student composers, performers, and artists who have taken up this legacy and who in turn are charting new territories of their own.
