• Set-up and ran CNC mills and lathes. (Okuma and Hass) • Troubleshot and repaired equipment as needed. • Responsible for all paperwork pertaining to ISO 9000. • Input offsets to the CNC to meet the required tolerances utilizing blue prints for specified parts. • Extensive knowledge of tooling, changing broken tools, jaws and backstops. • Utilized gauging – more... devices such as height gauge, comparator, micrometers, ring gauges, plug gauges, and calibrators to meet set specifications. – less
Assembly of assorted heaters for medical and government applications in a clean room environment. I learned how to document each procedure on paper and computer. I used a microscope to ensure parts were built to specification. Management and co-workers were very helpful and great to work with. I worked hard for the company and sometimes wasn't appreciated – more... which was the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable aspect of the job was the feeling of accomplishment. – less
