Working For The Government
Interdisciplinary Engineering Intern (Current Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PASeptember 8, 2015
The flexibility is great when you work for the government. As long as you meet your biweekly required hours and work during core hours, you can work whenever you want to.

The work is also meaningful as you and your coworkers work towards a meaningful goal.

Too much politics
Inspector (Current Employee) –  VariousFebruary 18, 2015
Too many good ol' boys looking out for a select few and protecting the jobs of those in positions of power. Too little focus on actually helping the mining industry to reduce injuries and accidents.
Pros
travel.
Cons
good ol' boys club hellbent on putting their jobs and careers ahead of the safety of miners.
