About Minnesota State Patrol
The Minnesota State Patrol Trooper's Association is made up of the 465 Troopers, who are not part of the supervisory rank, in the State Patrol. The Association is the representative organization for these State Troopers.
We have contacted with a Minneapolis firm to do statewide fundraising on behalf of our organization. None of the funds go into the – more... working Trooper's pockets. Most of the revenue we receive through this program funds Association operations, member services, programs and activities sponsored by our Association. Some of these programs and activities include funeral donations to Trooper's families, contributions to school safety patrol programs, make-a-wish contributions, a statewide essay contest for middle school children, assistance to active and retired Troopers that help with medical emergencies, and other charitable efforts that request our Association's assistance. We have had this fundraising program for about 12 years and have experienced very few concerns.
The sponsorship program incorporates public safety messages such as "seat belt safety" and "say no to drugs", bringing those messages to Minnesota's general populace on an individual basis over the phone. The financial return to the MSPTA from the sponsor program exceeds 20% of gross revenue, more than many similar efforts given the economics of phone costs, printer, postage, labor, insurance, legal, bank charges, rent, utilities and the myriad of other directly related expenses.
If you feel uncomfortable about making a contribution, by all means do not contribute. However, your consideration is sincerely appreciated. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
