All Codes, Standards, procedures and drawings were only controlled in hard copy.... No intranet (windows explorer) access to controlled copies of documents. No implementations of storage and maintenance procedures or Conditional Release procedures.

Manufacturing was fun and challenging. Learned and gained a ton of skills through training.
Supervisor Manufacturing (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAMarch 24, 2015
Through the Kaizen Lean Training, I was able to learn and discover new ways of problem solving. Along the journey, I retained valuable knowledge that I currently apply in my daily life. Through team effort and team building, many challenges were presented but overall resolved and improved. The most enjoyable part of the training was applying the new skills learned and implemented the necessary changes to achieve department goals.

Customer Support/Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Irvine, CAMarch 19, 2013
It sure keeps you busy. You need to be a good multi tasker just to get threw the day.
You need to be ready to change from one assigment to the other with minimal supervision.
Some co-workers are good to work with.
You need to be ready to answer 4 different company lines.

Customer Service/Temp (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAMay 15, 2012
I loved working at Mirion. I am great at Customer Sevice and enjoy helping people. I enjoyed working with my co-workers also. It was not like a typical call center.. Management was nice and helpful. The hardest part of the job was not knowing everything before being put on the phones then finding out you may have input something wrong two months after. Training really should of been longer before being thrown on the phone. There was something new everyday.
Pros
working independently
Cons
training
