I took a contact with this company, based on a job description I was given. In that description, I met all requirements of the job.
However, after accepting the position, I later found out that they gave me the wrong job description. They should have gotten the detailed the job description from their main contractor before hiring me. They should have allowed me to review the actual requirements of the job before they hired me, but didn't.
As a result, I was terminated for poor job performance or not meeting a particular job requirement. I'm a Senior Technical Writer and have been for 13 years. I was required to spend 80-90% of my time transcribing meeting minutes. There was no place in the original job description about doing meeting minutes or transcribing these minutes, verbatim.
I feel this is a gross error on their part and especially on the part of their main contracting company. Neither company wanted to take responsibility for their failure and omission. As a result I was terminated. Even worse, I was insulted with out-processing paperwork stating that I was resigning. The main contractors are criminally negligent in my opinion, but MCSG, I would definitely work for again.
