Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Reno, NV – September 3, 2016
This was quite possibly the worst company I’ve ever worked for. I was kept as a temp employee for over a year. When hired as a permanent employee, discovered the benefits are the worst. There is not any training for the employees. You either sink or swim. The customers are angry because their phone systems are lousy and the technicians that are supposed to work on them are rude to their coworkers and customers. It is a “good old boys club” for sure. If you are a woman, do not expect to get ahead or acknowledged for your efforts. The management is incompetent and ignorant. They are there only because it appears easier for the higher ups to not have to replace them.
Mitel/Mavenir employee values changed after acquisiton where experience and employment recognition of service were not important.
Senior Support Engineer (Former Employee) – Mt. Laurel, NJ – August 23, 2016
During Ulticom years, work days were met with challenging issues, but management appreciated the dedication and experience gained to serve customers and internal departments better and more efficiently. Mitel/Mavenir acquired the products that Ulticom supported/created but did not carry the same appreciation to the experienced employees.
Great place to work. Usually hire from a temp agency and depending on performance will keep you on after 6 months.
MiCloud Technical Support (Former Employee) – Reno, NV – August 4, 2015
I enjoyed working there. I was hired as a temp. Usually they do all the hiring from temp agencies and depending on performance will keep you on after 6 months. After that the benefits and holidays are great.
Cloud Channel Account Manager (Former Employee) – Mesa, AZ – July 24, 2015
Their Cloud Based PBX product call Micloud Business has some serious limitations that Mitel's competitors are taking advantage of. The product lacks simple integration with other mainstream business services like SFDC or any cost recovery or account codes. They limit their own hosted product, at the same time boosting the capabilities of the same product sold by the Premise based re-sellers,
Tech support (Former Employee) – reno NV – January 25, 2015
They don't like women either in Reno they have this Mexican Man as a sup I'm Hispanic myself scared to death of losing his job anyone that knows more than him he fires. Everyone is a a temp " heads up businesses" you information is handle by temp agents scary that are very upset. not a good sign ...all information accounts ETC.and they treat people horribly Management truly don't know what they are doing it is shameful no training , fend for yourself it is scary work environment
so unclear not even sure..... (Former Employee) – Tempe, AZ – May 30, 2014
Do not let anyone know how much you know as they may be intimidated. Thinking outside the box to make any process more efficient = BAD!! Those will lie to management so their own insecurities will be hidden, and what I can only assume is "job security". Also management does not have the audacity to give the real reason you are being let go during the exiting discussion, you may get to hear it from the rector.... In short all the negative reviews are correct, not a company to work for. Management has no idea what they are doing or any idea of how to make the business more profitable.
