Fast and fun shifts with great flexibility
Promotional Model (Current Employee), Los Angeles, CAJuly 28, 2014
Pros: expenses paid for and good flexibility with shifts.
Cons: first respond, first booked mass work emails and travel can vary
Enjoy walking into a bar or restaurant as a brand ambassador for a great company. In the beginning we check in with management and staff, then continue by letting patrons know about the Beer and(or) Wine we are promoting for that shift. Side note: you can do multiple shifts in a day and(or) still have time to enjoy your day after a shift is complete.

We – more... also- especially as leads on the promotion, have to call ahead to confirm the account, product, take photos, upload them and then file a report on how the event went online for head-quarters in New York. – less

Working with MKTG for event is fun! Great way to meet people while working.
Brand Ambassador/Directional Assistant (Former Employee), San Jose, CaMay 22, 2014
I worked with MKTG as a brand ambassador for an event once and hope to work with again in the future.

Co-workers are friendly enough with various ethnicity and cultures!

The most enjoyable part as a Brand Ambassador for MKTG is to work at events. Learn about new products lines before it comes out etc. and the free give aways!

Exciting job, with excellent pay
Brand representative (Current Employee), OhioMarch 11, 2014
Pros: flexible schedule, choose the days you'd like to work, excellent pay, great management and coworkers
Cons: not enough opportunities to work, no benefits, long periods between jobs
Very easy to quickly learn the ropes. Very fun if you are knowledgeable about the products that you are representing. They give you plenty of tools to succeed and do well in your job.
Your job can range from exciting night life, being in the clubs passing out samples in fun outfits. Or more low key events in grocery stores or liquor stores. You are – more... almost always guaranteed at least four hours when you do a promotion. However, you can go a month or two between events. It's a great second job or part time job for school.
You work in teams of two or three in club events and are usually on your own during events in liquor/grocery stores. They hire upbeat, friendly and social people so your co workers are usually all very friendly and exciting people. It's not hard to become friends with people you work with, there is no competition involved in this job, so everyone is able to work well with each other.
The hardest part is really not all that bad. It can be long hours that extend in to very late nights but if you enjoy being out at night it can be very fun. You are constantly on your feet and in club events which require high heeled, knee high boots. It can be very uncomfortable.
The best part about of the job is all the people you are able to meet, and connect with. Your co workers are usually fun to work with. You are very recognizable when you are in your branded uniforms and people are excited to be around you and meet you. I have had people want to take pictures with me, it's a lot of fun to play a role. Management is great. They want you to succeed and treat you as an equal, they are friendly, nice and very helpful. My manager was available, whenever I have needed her. Always willing to take my side if a client is difficult. – less

Pros: competitive pay
Cons: mininal shifts availble
Coordinate events and build rapports with club owners and liquor store owners

Management is easily accessible via text , email, or phone calls

Most enjoyable part of the job is the meeting a variety of people and making connections.

You work with a variety of people all with different experiences and there is such a diversity between the models.

Hardest – more... part of the job is overcoming negative personalities. – less

Interesting, fun job (if you like to talk to people)
Executive Interviewer (Former Employee), East Islip, NYNovember 13, 2013
Pros: mostly fun talking to people all over the country about different topics, there are enough nice people out there to negate the rude people you sometimes get on the phone!, close to home, flexible hours, make your own schedule.
Cons: when the economy is doing poorly, this market is hurt badly, huge lack of work.
Great place to work if you need supplemental income. If you are a good employee, they are flexible with your needs (if you have to leave early for a family matter, etc) Job security: again, if you are a good worker, you will have steady work when it is slow, they always need good interviewers. Management is mostly friendly and cooperative.

The management is so sweet. The co-workers are all beautiful, polite, easy to approach, helpful, and amazing to work with! It's a fairly easy job giving out complimentary drinks to those qualified and free give-aways. Most of the events are in the evenings and the weekends so it's the perfect part-time job!
